Chance to win an in-game GAZ-MM 72K AA or Sd.Kfz. 10/5 Flak 38 AA
The new player controllable AA trucks are going to be released over the next few months with the GAZ-MM coming first and expected November/December time. When released the GAZ-MM 72-K and Sd.Kfz. 10/5 Flak 38 can be used in both single-player and multiplayer scenarios and will include several custom-made missions to demonstrate their ability at knocking down enemy planes. There is currently a pre-order sale on the IL2 store but I’m giving two lucky players the chance to win one each free!
How to enter:
Starting from 7pm 25 October 2020muntil around 7pm UK time on Saturday 7th November 2020 you can enter the prize draw by posting the link your stats for a multiplayer mission on the Wings of Liberty server where you successfully killed 2 or more enemy AA guns AND survived without getting captured! A link for an example qualifying mission is at the end of this post. Bonus entries are given for every two extra AA guns you kill in a single sortie.

To clarify:
1. Only missions flown after Sunday 25th October 7pm UK time count. You cannot use one from earlier in the month like I have done in the example.
2. You must fly online on the the Wings of Liberty server.
3. You can use any plane - it doesn’t have to be a dedicated ground attacker / bomber.
4. For an AA gun to count it must appear in the mission summary page (not just in the mission log) as an AA gun. There are some mission targets have ‘GAZ-AA’ trucks but these will be logged in the stats as a normal vehicle and so do not count. The same applies to some ship-based AA guns, if it’s not listed as AA in the summary then it doesn’t count.
5. You must survive AND be free at the end of the mission. You can enter if you are wounded but not if you are dead or captured. Missions that are logged as ‘disconnected’ do not count.
6. A bonus entries are given for every two extra AA kills. So 2 or 3 AA kills = 1 entry, 4 or 5 x AA = 2 entries, 6 or 7 AA = 3 entries and so on.
7. Players who enter a score from the Axis team will be entered into the draw for a Sd.Kfz. 10/5 Flak 38.
8. Players who enter a score from the Allied team will be entered into the draw for a GAZ-MM 72k.
9. You can only enter ‘once’ but if you get a higher number of kills please delete your comment with the lower score and then post the new one.
10. If you change your mind about which prize you want then you must post a new qualifying mission and delete your original post. I do check!
11. Screenshots will not be accepted - too easy to photoshop
12. I have allowed a two-week period that covers the end of the month. For players who like me fly ‘one month red, one month blue’ this will give you the fairest opportunity to enter as you can chose which AA truck you would like to win.
13. The prize will be sent to your Il2 game name - the one attached to the link you post. There is no point posting someone else’s mission as they will get the prize!
14. After the competition closes I will work out how many entries people have and use a random number app to determine the winners. The winners will be announced here.
